I have a well working system with Plex on a Mac mini and a NAS since years back.I have now got an Apple TV installed today on a tv in the network for the kids. How do I get Plex working on the Apple TV without the need of streaming through iPhones or iPads? Is it so easy that one just install Plex connect on the Mac mini to get this working? I don’t want to mess up anything already working or doing things that are to complicated. Is there a easy way of doing this? What I did when installing the Apple TV was to update the software.
Appreciate an simple step by step instruction if possible.

Thanks. It seems to be very technical for someone that isn’t into this like you are. Do I install Plex connect on my Mac mini first and then follow the steps in the link you attached? It seems like its very easy to forget something or get lost I’d not being very interested in programming and software solutions. Any easier way of solving his.?
Buy a Roku lol, nah jk but that's what I did. My Apple TV is in the drawer lol.

It works fine but I didn't want to have to deal with running plexconnect and I wanted other features the Roku has that ATV doesn't.
