Stream from Plex to AppleTV

Hi guys,

 

I was wondering if anyone has worked out a way to stream directly from Plex on their Mac to AppleTV? The only way I've been able to do it is by playing what I want on my Plex app on my iphone or ipad and then using Airplay to my AppleTV. I'd prefer not to have to do it this way if possible, particularly as Airplay seems to screw up all the time at my place for no reason.

Do you want to watch your content stored in PMS using your aTV/Apple remote (PULL)?

Or do you want to PUSH the content from your PMS machine to aTV (Airplay like)?

I think maybe it would be great to stick a topic with a complete presentation of PlexConnect , with screenshots and video… For newbies :wink:

If you are running osx (mac) you can use the official method in the pinned readme, beta web-based gui, or the beta OpenPlex app in my signature. All require your mac to be on while in use.
