I was watching something with the Experience Preview 2025.29.0, and all of a sudden the app crashed. Every time I tried to re-open it, the Plex logo would appear and then it would crash again. I force closed the app, restarted my Apple TV, but it still happened.
Today, I updated to 2025.30.0 and I am having the same issue. I cannot even get into the app to turn on logging to see what the issue is.
The same here. The version 30 on Apple TV is crashing on trying to play 4K mp4 containers. Get your stuff fixed. Make the app properly and don’t put additional bugs into the app, even so it’s still beta. And that the app for Apple TV is about a year in beta is utterly ridiculous and unacceptable!!!
I was having the same problem this evening. Here is what worked for me: uninstall the app from the Apple TV then reinstall it from TestFlight. You will have to Sign In again, but that got it working for me! Hope it work for you both as well. @cartman005 @hpedersen
