Hi team. I have recently been removed from the Experience Test on Apple TV TestFlight (at least that’s what it says on TestFlight). How can I rejoin the TestFlight for the Plex Experience Preview on Apple TV. If I use the normal link online it says ‘Beta Full’ The old Plex app suffers from bad audio desync and stutters for me, and this was one of the only things I found the Preview app to do better. I would really appreciate being added back.
In terms of bugs and things broken on preview that impacted me:
Subtitle styling is completely broken - subtitles are displayed in a thin, poorly rendered font / style, no matter what style is chosen in the OS Accessibility settings (old player had no issues using the style determined by the OS).
Unable to play explicit DoVi (HEVC Main 10) content, despite full setup support. Where a file is a hybrid (Dolby Vision + HDR10) the preview app will only play the HDR format. If a file is explicitly Dolby Vision, the player is unable to play the file (Error Occured - Cannot Open). The old app has no issues playing explicit DoVi files, so I know this is a preview issue.
