I’ve been playing music from my collection (stored on a NAS) via AppleTV for weeks now and also earlier today. Now, I fire up the Apple TV, go to Plex and the initial screen appears momentarily before dropping back to the Apple TV. After a few tries, it finally “took” and I started to play an album. A few minutes into it and it suddenly dropped back to the Apple TV. I get no messages to indicate why. Have others seen this behaviour? To my knowledge there were no updates today so at a loss to understand the change in behavior. Is this a problem with Plex or Apple TV? I’m currently playing the music via Plex installed on the NAS and working fine.
