[Apple TV] show duration of programmes on home screen // MOD: display duration label if sorted by duration

Is there a way to see the duration of a TV programme or film in the grid view of the home screen? I also noticed I can’t setup a custom filter on durations.
Obviously, you can get the duration by drilling down into the more detailed info of an item, but the idea is by knowing how long a programme or films is you can make a quicker decision what to watch.

Not sure which player you are using but you can sort by duration

Thanks BigWheel - indeed, I can see the duration as you suggested

I was too quick in accepting BigWheel’s answer as a solution. Whilst I can see the duration in my browser on my iMac I cannot see duration easily when using the Apple TV client. This is the main client I will be using.

Is there any way to reverse the answered question flag?

Apple TV doesn’t have it. sorry. I don’t know if/when it will be added

Thanks @BigWheel - guess I should open a new feature request specifically for AppleTV since I marked this one as answered.

i unmarked it for you.

Perfect - thanks

2022 clean-up: option to sort by duration is now also available on the Apple TV clients (sort option for movies, episodes) → implemented
