Does anyone know if I can install a fresh copy of Plex Connect on a apple TV 3 thats been updated to 6.0.2?


Well nothing but the certs get installed on the ATV and they do not get overwritten by updates.
You can always install a fresh copy of PlexConnect on your Mac/PC, just ensure you also put the required matching certs in the right folder.

You cannot, as that would require a jailbreak, which is not yet possible. You can, however, install PlexConnect on another machine and have your aTV3 w/6.0.2 connect to it, the way the software is intended to work.
