AppleTV 4K app - Low volume?

Server Version#: Latest on Plex pass (this is been going on for over a year though and I keep my server updated

Has anyone else noticed that the volume level in Apple TV Plex app is really low? I have two Apple TV 4K is in my home, one connected directly to the TV, the other connected to a TV but using optical from the TV to a sound bar.
On both of the set ups I have to almost to very often turn the volume to for Max and it’s still not loud enough. The type of content doesn’t seem to matter (I have 80+ TB so content is diverse)?
(trans coding or playing original doesn’t seem to matter either)

I I have made sure that reduce loud sounds is not enabled.

Does anyone else have this issue or know of a solution? I have search the form and there’s many other posts like this but they all seem to be a bit older and don’t have a clear solution

(Or is there another appletv app/player I can use other than the Plex app, that will still recognize my library’s and organization?

(Btw , other apps like Netflix or HBO on both TVs are plenty loud)

I’m having the same issue. The Youtube App on the appletv 4k box has normal sound level. But when I switch to plex, it’s so low, I need to crank up the volume of the tv to almost the max.

I have the same problem on my 4th gen, even when setting volume boost to huge. Interestingly, when enabling ATV’s “reduce loud sounds” the volume is slightly boosted - this is only for Plex and applies to no other app.

Surely enough people are using this on the Apple TV to fix this?

I am experiencing the same issue. I’m air playing to a single HomePod. Volume from plex is significantly lower than other apps such as Netflix or Youtube.
