AppleTV 4K new player deinterlacer?

Hi,

I’d like to know if AppleTV 4K new player can play interlaced content ?
According to this link, the previous MPV player had deinterlacer.

Most of french Live OTA TV channels are 1080i h264, and transcode with the plex server is too CPU intensive for my NAS.
So I really need the player can deinterlace.
