Despite some limitations, I heavily use Alexa for listening to my Plex music library. I recently wanted to start a radio station for a specific genre by saying (in German though) “Alexa, tell Plex to start Rock radio” (also variations like “Rock radio station”, “Rock genre”, “Rock station”, etc.) but Alexa would only respond with “Could not find Rock radio in your library on [server name]”. You can also start the Plex app on Alexa and tell it directly to Plex omitting the “Alexa, as Plex” part. Same results.
Starting a genre radio station in Plex or Plexamp on my computer works just fine.
So my question is: is it even possible to start a radio station for genres with Plexamp on Alexa? If so, what’s the command for it, and is German even supported? If not, I would like to ask for that feature as it’s something that’s probably on some people’s radar. Starting a radio station for artists works just fine btw.
