Are there any Plex clients which support gapless playback?

I use mainly Roku’s as Plex clients. I would like to use the music feature but gapless playback is a must. As I understand it, its not possible on Roku (nor Chromecast).

Are there any Plex clients that can do gapless playback?

Works well on my ATV 4. Just tried it on Zappa’s Sheik Yerbouti, Flakes >> Broken Hearts are for *ssholes.
Perfectly seamless.

OpenPHT has gapless playback

No gapless on iOS and I’ve been whining about it for months. Which makes it hard to believe ATV4 actually has it.

As far as I know this feature had been requested for years now without any response from the developers. I have not seen any official Plex client that has gapless playback. I wish there was :frowning:

Thats bad news! I thought I remembered reading it was a limitation of Roku, but appears to be Plex itself. :frowning:

Well, I tried 3 more albums, the first two sounded seamless, the last one on the third song I could tell. It is barely there but if you know the album you know there is no gap.
So no joy in Mudville for the ATV.

Rasplex also plays gapless music.

When I said OpenPHT I was including the version previously known as Rasplex (which is my main client). I thought all versions were now known as OpenPHT

DSOTM transition from track 1 to 2 is my test.
