a friend of mine got plex and had great movies on it. but he didn’t set that movies on his account. so i want to know if plex gives us movies that we can watch. so yes how do i do that
Plex only organizes and displays the media you already own. It is possible that your friend was already granted access to someone else’s library which already contained content, or has installed a plug-in that is allowing Plex to be used in a way not officially intended.
Officially: Installing Plex and seeing nothing is perfectly normal. You have to add your own stuff, or be invited by someone else.
but there where some songs on my plex when i opened it
These songs are your own files.
They are are located on your plex server (very likely in the default ‘My Music’ folder of your Windows account).
