So I am new to having my own account on Plex. We have had Plex for about a year due to my friend signing me into his account on our tvs. But he has cancelled his, so we got our own now. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!! I was expecting to pay the money, log in and there would be all these shows and movies to watch. There is NOTHING! I am confused on how to get them on there. I used my laptop as the main server. I don’t have any media/photos/videos on my laptop. How are we able to watch movies and shows??? HELP!!!

Plex is a media server (app) that allows you to manage your own media, and play it it on a number of devices around your home, and when mobile. Visit their website www.plex.tv and scrroll down a little to the first video and hit play!
Plex is not an independant streaming service with it’s own catalogue of movies and TV Shows.
