Ive been using plex for quite some time now and I’m very happy with it. I have a question about one situation I came across today.
Im serving drone videos on my Plex server. My drone is able to shoot 4K on 30FPS and 1080p on 30/60/120FPS. The thing is that one of my TVs cant display 1080p on higher FPS than 30(2013 Samsung). When I try to play a 1080p60fps file through the plex app, I get frame rate unsupported. However on my other TV it works perfectly fine(2017 LG).
I find it really silly that Plex doesnt seem to give the ability to transcode the video with reduced frame rate. Or is there an option that I’m missing?
