How do i access the beta. I am a long time plex pass subscriber who just bought a DS218play and had no idea plex wouldnt work

To get to the ā€˜Testingā€™ area, I do it this way.

  1. Click the Plex logo at the top of the forumā€™s header
  2. Click on ā€œAll categoriesā€. The list of categories drops down.
  3. Click ā€œTestingā€
  4. Click on ā€œall in Testingā€
  5. Click ā€œPlex Pass Betasā€
  6. Our topic is the first one listed :smiley:

It looks like you have a PlexPass flag. Would you please sign out and back in to the forum?
From all I see here, it should active as of 40 minutes ago. There is a small propagation delay. Signing out and back in forces the forum to update from the subscription database.

For anyone purchasing a Plex Pass:

Please sign out of the forum and back in if you do not see ā€œPlex Passā€ next to your name after the purchase.

Signing out and back in will update your forum access level

It will update your account.
I see you recently joined and acquired your Plex Pass.

Iā€™m looking at your Forum account details and itā€™s not showing all the fields yet. Signing out and back in will forcibly refresh this. If it doesnā€™t, Iā€™ll have the Forum admin flip the flag for you.

Since becoming a PlexPass holder, have you signed out and back into the forums?
The SSO updates the forum when you do. This is what controls what your access in the forum

Massive thanks for job you have done!
Just one little issue- not important but could be fixed.

In order to watch films - content need to live in Homes folder - /var/services/homes/plex

It will not find other media if i try to link folder outside the homes: /var/services/publicvideos
