I don’t use my Roku as much as I used to, since I got a Shield, but I just fired up Plex on the Roku and discovered that more than half of the Album and Artist images are not displayed. They show normally on plex Web and the Shield. In Plex Web, I did a Refresh Metadata on one artist, then re-launched the Roku app, and that artist’s image is now displayed. I’m sure that doing a ‘Refresh all metadata’ will restore all the images, but there should not be a need to do that.
I have long seen that Plex will, occasionally, randomly ‘lose’ an image (others have reported this as well), both on the Shield and the Roku. This is the first time I’ve seen so many missing images. I presume it has just accumulated over time, since I don’t run the Roku as frequently.
Why is this happening?
