Artist artwork incorrect, duplicated or missing

Hi,
Can anyone please tell me how to get Plex to show the correct artwork? I have 6521 albums, each with the correct artwork. I use Music Bee to manage the collection on my Synology NAS and Plex to stream when out-and-about.

All albums have all tags that want and are correct, including all artwork.

The Album view on Plex shows the correct artwork for each album so that is great. However, when I want to view Artists (It is easier when scrolling on the phone), the artwork is either missing, or is a picture of the artist. This I could kind of cope with if I had to, if they were correct, but more often than not it is completely incorrect. It is also duplicating some of them.

What I want is for this view to show the artwork from one of the albums by that artist. It does not matter which one, but it would make my life easier than seeing an incorrect artist picture, or even none at all for some of them

This is not how it works - when viewing by artist it will show the artist artwork.

You can put your own artwork inside the artist folder to get the behaviour you want though, just place the image you want to use inside the artist folder and rename it to artist.jpg or poster.jpg (which may be more appropriate in your instance).

e.g.

/Media/Music
... /Artist Folder
... poster.jpg
... ... /Album 1
... ... /Album 2

I was hoping you wouldn’t say that, but it is what I suspected.

As you can imagine, this is going to take some time as it sounds like this is a manual task, unless you know of a way of doing it automatically?
