I have been using Twonky Server for two or three years, but have been having some problems with the latest release.
Yesterday I downloaded Plex Media Server, and am currently evaluating it.
I am disappointed to see that there is no Artist Index folder in the navigation tree (ie the artist list split into A-C, D-F etc).
I have quite a large music collection, and find the Artist Index the quickest way to navigate to the album I want to play.
Is it there, and I have missed it, or is it something that can be added?

Same for me, also looking for a way to show an artist index in the way this can be setup in Twonky.
Would be very grateful to see such functionality be made available.

Seems that this feature is still not available. I use Twonky as a DLNA-Server on my NAS (QNAP) and I am very happy with that offering this feature I just installed PLEX for testing-purpose to see what other DLNA-software could offer to me, but it seems to me, that for music Twonky is the a very good choice for me. Maybe PLEX is better for the video-people. I havn’t touched the video and picture-part of PLEX yet. Maybe I ran both DLNA-players if that is useful.
