Artist music videos Has No Thumbnail (1.15.4.919 === > no music videos at all)

Player Version#: 3.83.1

since the last update , i have couple of music videos and suddenly on Thumbnails of this artist gone forever.

i have tried the below :

  • removing all video and re add them
  • remove artist and re add it
  • refresh meta data
    -clean bundles
  • empty trash

but nothing works , even the Thumbnail for old videos (which were available before the refresh) are gone and i cannot get them back , would you please advise?

Im having the same problem also. Server Version: 1.15.3.876 and i have tried what @fatnasa did also with no luck. I wonder if it’s a bug in this version of the server software. Im running this on Synology NAS. I have all my music videos in a global directory, not inline with the music folders.

i have tested the new version which was released on April 11th and all music video are gone from all artists (not even available without thumbnail :frowning: )

Can confirm. I had several Global Music Videos and they are all no longer showing. Did some testing and you can’t even associate Music Videos with tracks at the moment. Music Videos are completely broken in 1.15.4.919 at the very least. Not sure exactly which version broke it specifically I have not looked at my music videos in a while.

Yep no Music Videos are showing! Please fix!!

the issue seems to be fixed in 1.15.5.994

but if you have for testing removed the videos and re-add them to test the past version(s) you may need to do the following :

remove the impacted videos
clean bundles
empty trash
re add the video again

Videos are back, but still no thumbnails… Tried refreshing metadata… Any suggestions?

Put the latest update in yesterday, noticed today 2tb of music video I have is no longer visible. Was watching Music Videos just the afternoon before that. The thumbnails have been blank for me for well over a month now.

for me (i had only issues with 1 artist with 5 videos) so i have done the following to fix it after installing the latest update 1.15.5.994 :

remove the impacted videos
Scan library files / refreshing metadata
clean bundles
empty trash
re add the video again
Scan library files / refreshing metadata

Did the full Plex Dance. Videos are all there. No thumbnail images at all.

I WOULDN’T recommend version 1.15.5.994, as it breaks Movie Chapter Thumbnails once again!

I’ve downgraded back to 1.15.5.993.

However I can confirm that all my existing Artists videos are still present, and still have thumbnails. Unfortunately I have no new videos to put on so I cannot confirm if the introduction of new content works or not.

1.15.5.993 - did not allow any music videos to show up in my library
1.15.5.994 - my music videos now show up, no thumbnails for any
(FreeNAS-11.2-U3)
