.ASS Subtitles causing transcode

All of a sudden my Plex Media Server (Ubuntu VM on Proxmox Host) has started to transcode any media that has .ASS subtitles. It never has before. In the Playback info on the client it says that “The selected subtitles require transcoding to maintain their appearance.” Client is a Chromecast with Google TV, and LG WebOS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
