After installing the latest server version, I found the Atmos filter in the movies list (side note, would be nice to also have a DTS:X filter). However, when I select the Atmos filter, it says nothing was found that matches that filter criteria, despite me having many, many films with atmos.
Rescan the library.
If that does not work, then refresh the metadata.
Use an Advanced Filter with audio codec = EAC3 and audio layout = 5.1 (side). Then refresh only those items.
Repeat with an Advanced Filter for audio codec = truehd and audio layout = 7.1.
That will avoid refreshing metadata for the entire library.
Using Plex Web:
- Create Advanced Filter
- Click on first movie
- Scroll slowly to the bottom of the list
- Click on last movie
- Refresh metadata for selected movies
For TV Shows, change to showing episodes instead of shows, then build filter, etc.
