OK so Plex seems to be flush with money have some nice looking apps but really pulling my hair out trying to use it to play audiobooks. Why does it never seem to remember the position I left off total fail. Yes I’ve set remember position option etc. really I’ll be seeking another way to play my audio books from now on such a simple simple thing and they can’t seem to get it right. The mobile player also seems to be confusing never really showing me what I need gas I’ll be going back to iTunes as well man I wish I could get stuff to work also the whole thing of off-line online content I seem to switch between the two sometimes works sometimes doesn’t I’m running a Synology NAS plenty of hard drive space and speed just never seems to work properly from the beginning.
I don’t think Plex supports audiobooks natively.
While it seems to pull artist information, you cannot make an audiobook ‘library’ the same way you can movies/tv/music.
I ‘store’ my audiobooks in a music library, but only to browse and see what I have, before transferring to a phone to play on specific audiobook player.
I would love to see better audiobook support, so I can easily sync playback on phone/computer/web
