Audio Issues with Plex Ps4 App

Good day chaps,

I am currently having several issues with my Plex for PS4. My currents set up is as follows:
Philips 55PUS6703
PS4 Pro Connected via optical out to
Sonos Soundbar with 2 sonos:play 1 satellites

  1. When direct streaming/playing an AC3 track no audio is being played. I have checked with multiple videos and also checked that my sonos is accepting an ac3 track. When using the PS4 DLNA player to play the same media there is no issue.

  2. When no AC3 track is available Plex transcodes to AAC. As a results I lose my surround sound track. This is despite a lot of tinkering with the PS4 app profile.

Any help would be appreciated guys, thanks in advance!
