Plex on Ps4 -> 5.1 Audio coming through all the surround speakers

Hi All,

I’m running into the following problem.

I’ve got a 7.1 set-up. PS4 settings set to PCM. Sound through HDMI
Whenever I stream something through Plex with a 5.1 track, the surround (that should only be coming from the LEFT or RIGHT side surround, also pops up in the LEFT and RIGHT REAR speaker (See image attached in link)

I’m only having this problem with the Plex app. Streaming 5.1 via Netflix on PS4 doesn’t give any troubles. Whilst streaming 5.1 Netflix, the rear speakers are silent as the should be, and surround nicely pops up in the side surrounds.IMG_8390|690x920

Was going through the threads. Is the problem that I’ve stated above the same as here??; Plex PS4 App following update, no longer works with AC3 audio

What a pity that would be. Its such a lovely app :(!
