Audio Sync Issues With Fire TV 4k Max - FIXED

I bought a second generation (2023) AFTV 4k Max so I could pass through Atmos and True HD from Plex, and it works GREAT, except I was having minor audio Sync issues, and it was driving me crazy. I finally figured out the problem. It was the Frame Rate Matching setting in the Plex App. Turning this off resoled my audio Sync issues.

If you are watching and the audio seems just a little off, then on again then it may get worse with time, try turning this off. I have seen a few posts about this on Reddit also which it how I figured out the problem.

That’s not a solution lol It might fix out of sync but disabling frame rate matching will introduce judder and other annoying stuff. I know that AFR in the new generation of Fire Sticks will give audio out of sync on plex. Better to use kodi for now, but they need to fix it ASAp plex team or amazon devs…
