Please add the option to “resume” audio files. Just like TV Shows or Movies. This would allow me to fully convert to Plex Music

I know the feeling, I’ve been waiting for this since I started using Plex. I use Calibre for my books and Comicrack for my comics now, but both aren’t what I seek compared to Plex. Metadata, syncing, ‘read’ status like watched status, sharing,… are all very nice in Plex and it would make Plex the ultimate media server 
I’m glad this is on the way. I listen to the old Star Wars radio dramas sometimes in the car and it’s annoying when I have to seek to where I left off.

I’ve tried Ubooquity as well as those 2, currently just have them in that at the moment. That lacks some serious sorting options though, especially for big libraries author and title doesn’t cut it ha. I myself would love it if Plex decided to manage both, I wouldn’t even care about much of a scraper if we could somehow pull out Calibre data. Tracking and read lists would be a must though

This is great news.
I think that Plex is really very feature complete but the audio resume is one of the few areas that was still missing.
Really looking forwards to support for audiobooks (and downloaded podcasts).
Would love this feature… For audiobooks and Podcasts. Then i could get rid of Audible and Pocketcasts on my OnePlus1

They never give ETAs, but if he says it’s coming it generally means it’s being actively worked on so it’ll soon™

I imagine if they do it like the partial watched videos then, yes.
Any word if audiobook support will also include play speed? I know a lot of people like myself listen at 1.2x - 1.5x speed to get through some books faster.
