I find the lack of a proper backup system built into Plex very limiting. Sure I can copy my database manually but its not very effecient or elegant given the rest of Plex is so slick. Having options in Plex to start a schedule to regularly backup your database and settings to a set location would be so much better and overall less frustrating when migrating to a new computer or NAS. As. Roon subscriber there back up and restore process of a large database is superb and easy to setup.
