So I run a small Plex server for family and friends. I was wondering if there was a feature similar to Netflix where when you are nearing the end of the episode and the credits are rolling (or close to it), the option to click on the next episode appears. If that is possible, how do you enable it?
My next question is only applicable if the previous option is possible. If it is, is there a way to set when that timer starts at the end of each episode. Also on Netflix, sometimes if you watch multiple episodes back-to-back, it will skip the intro of the episode. Is there a way to set that up as well?

Plex does have a count down feature, it’s called post play, but not all clients have it yet. Unlike Netflix, post play only comes up when the video is totally done. There is no guarantee that a video will have credits, so starting the countdown early may cover up the actual video. When post play does occur, there is a hard coded 10 second countdown.

Also, I believe in all Plex apps, the ‘right arrow’ button will jump to the next episode.
Second question: No. Plex’s Post-Play function is relatively new, and does not have these capabilities. The page I linked above shows the current functionality. No word on if it ever will (Plex doesn’t discuss their roadmap), but I believe there have been some feature requests for it.
