Decided to get plexpass and wanted to use the skip intro/credits feature.
Analysis is complete, and I can even see the marker information when I view XML. When watching on desktop or web client I do get a button, since automatic skipping is not possible on these clients. However on my firestick I adjusted the settings to automatic and the intro still plays, and the credits just result in the pic-in-pic ‘up next/on deck’ screen with no skipping occuring.
Even if I set the firestick settings to manual, I don’t get the button.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The default credits behaviour on Android/FireTV is the picture-in-picture effect. If you would prefer to see the Skip credits button you need to change the setting “Show Up Next” to “When Video Finishes” instead of the default “During Final Credits”. This setting is also in Player Experience.
Thank you, I don’t know why I didn’t try that. In my head I expected it to show the pip and then skip the credits on the small screen. But alas all I had to do was set “show up next” to “when video finishes” as you instructed and it resolved my issue.
Do you know if this feature is supported when casting? It works on my mobile device when streaming from the mobile device itself. But when I cast, it seems like there are default settings that I can’t change. It doesn’t show the PiP screen, but theres no button and it doesnt skip automatically too. The countdown timer for the next episode is also 15 seconds despite being set as 5 seconds.
