I think it would be great if pled could automatically optimise the transcoding quality based on the current speed of the connection between the client and the server, adjusting to server load and the actual connection speed.
e.g. if you have 10Mb/s upload and on person is watching Plex will transcode at 10Mb/s
if 2 people are watching on the same line Plex will transcode at 5Mb/s each to make sure both users get smooth streams.
I believe this may fall under Youtube style buffering (as they also use ABR encoding)
