Automatically show as Collections based on a folder structure?

I am new to plex and it was my first option to organize my media.
I have multiple folders that are constantly being updated with new videos.

  • I tried view by folder but it is horrible since i cannot assign a thumbnail to each folder (i just have a huge list with those lame gray plex icons)

  • I tried Collections but every time i add something new i have to manually add a collection tag (and i should have like 100 tags)

there should be a "use this folder as a collection OR add the option to assign thumbnails in each home video folder.
I was really about to even buy a Plex pass but i ll PASS.

Using folders as collections source is a horrid idea. What about movies that are part of multiple collections? Sure i will juste dump a 50 gig+ 4k rip in multiple folders or mess arround with symlinks in the file system… sorry but no thats just a bad ide.
