Automatisch erzwungene Untetitel verwenden

Hello all

My settings:
PREFERRED SOUND LANGUAGE => German
PREFERRED SUBTITLE LANGUAGE => German
MODE TO AUTOMATICALLY SELECT SUBTITLES => always
SEARCH SUBTITLES FOR HEARING LESS (SDH) => only normal
SEARCH FOR “FORCED” SUBTITLES =>show only forced ones
My expectation: the movie is German and only German forced subtitles are shown if available. If there are no forced German subtitles - no subtitles are shown/selected.

What happens:

If the sound is German e.g. English is selected as subtitle if there are no German subtitles. This is in my eyes actually not right. or do I understand something wrong?

If you want to see only forced subtitles, make sure to set MODE TO AUTOMATICALLY SELECT SUBTITLES to Show with foreign audio.

Assuming you have a forced subtitle, this will show the German language subtitle for any non-German audio.
Always just picks up the regular/full subtitle.

Unless you manually set the English subtitle some time earlier, Plex should not pick that based on your automatic selection settings.
