when I create a new photo library I never get option to “Choose the Automatically tag my photos! option”
I am in Version 1.2.7.2987 tried doing a update but tells me its the latest version
what gives I would loveto try out the autotagging

This feature is only available from version 1.3.0.
What are you running the server on? You can download the latest Plex Pass releases here: https://www.plex.tv/downloads/
Which server platform are you using?
version 1.3.0 of PMS is not available on some NAS platforms and the nVidia Shield.
The features will be available in a later issue of the server software on these platforms.
I am running Version 1.3.0.3059 on Synology NAS DS 1513+ and AutoTagging wont work! It seemed to have been processing it since I asked it to refresh/analyze… but no luck!
i use it on windows and it’s been refreshing now for 4 hours for 150 photo’s … so something is dead wrong

If you think you have an issue please can you provide your server logs (Settings -> Server -> Help -> Download Logs).
I cannot really know what’s going on without these.
when i search for something simple like “dog” i dont see any results. is there a log anywhere that states the current status? i saw some messages in the Media Server.log, but it doesnt referance picture named dirrectly, so i dont know what the status\files are.

Everything looks to be running smoothly there, it may just take a while to finish processing everything. The amount of time it takes will depend totally on the size of the library.
The log shows that it was still busy processing images when you grabbed this log.
ok so check for update did not work so I manually updated and now I am on Version 1.3.0.3059

that is good news, but after in installed it PMS was crashing
ot starting after an hour or so. i restarted the server and all came back up fine, so you understand my concern about everything working fine 
is there any way to estimate how long it will take? something like 100 pics = 10 minutes?
