Is live transcoding supported for av1. I know it can play it back, but if I buy a intel arc graphics card, will it live transcode to av1 when I’m on my phone on cellular network for example? (since I don’t have the graphics card yet, it always transcodes to h.264)
Plex transcodes to AVC/H.264. Transcoding to other formats is not possible with Plex.
There is no support for the Intel Arc graphics cards. Not sure about Windows, but the last I saw, it did not work on Linux based systems.
