Hello everybody. Can anyone please tell me how to back up Metadata, plex settings, etc. when you are running it on your Nighthawk X10 Router? I can only find information on how to do this if it is running on computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
All your Plex data should be on the usb drive. Take it over to a computer and make a backup.
Thank you for your reply. I am not sure which files I need to back up for this information. My usb drive is 6tb and I don’t have another one around to back up the entire drive. I just want to make sure all of the information I am correcting manually doesn’t get lost.
All the Plex stuff should be in a Plex Media Server folder. You’ll want to backup everything that isn’t a media file. The most important thing is the database. All the rest will regenerate if needed. It will take time to re-download all the metadata, but if you can’t back it up, it’s not a loss. I’m sorry, I don’t know the exact path where the database file is located but it’s name is “com.plexapp.plugins.library.db”.
