I have a question, has anyone figured out how to backup and restore Plex Settings and Metadata when migrating from a Windows 10 PC running PMS to a Netgear Nighthawk X10 routers PMS? When I first plugged in my USB drives and enabled PMS on my X10 I found a new folder labeled “Library” on the drive I designate as my Plex Data Directory but I can’t figure out where the registry location would be for the Plex settings data. When I used a PC as my media server I could find the Plex settings data at Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Plex Inc and my media data could be found in %LOCALAPPDATA% (Thanks to Byte My Bits on You Tube)
If anyone has a good process documented for backing up metadata and Plex settings and embedding this info so that my X10 routers PMS can use it I would love to see it. I have hundreds of movies and about 100 TV series that I have named and organized exactly how I want them and would hate to have to redo all of it in order to migrate to PMS on my X10.
