Backing up personal track ratings in Synology NAS

Basically I’m looking to backup the ratings I’ve given to thousands of tracks in plexamp, so if something happens to my data or plex, I can do a fresh plex install, restore this backup and have my track ratings back.

I’m assuming this is the type of data stored in the PlexMediaServer shared folder, so making a backup of that will do the job? Is anyone able to confirm this is all I need to backup?

Any help is appreciated

That’s correct, the ratings are stored in Plex‘ database which is located in the server data directory.

Option 1: „brute force“

Option 2: „use scheduled database backups“

Option 3: „manual, tailored backup of just viewstate and ratings“

Option 4: „lazy mode“

Ok, excellent. I’ll start backing that up, many thanks
