I had a question. I was wondering as i don't see it from web admin if we could easily backup our plex database, uploaded images, etc (everything needed to restore it except the media)? If there is not an easy way to do this building this in as a feature would be very helpful. I can backup the actual media pretty easily but anything needed to backup and then restore the folders, settings, images tied to the media (not sure where those are even saved on readynas). I did read a few things it may be possible with SSH but while i know it is possible and even have experience with ssh readynas really does not like it and even say it could void your warranty. Also, it seems like a complex process which you will never know if it actually works. A backup/restore function would be most ideal.
Agreed, and OT, and different platform, but since Linux is Linux, take a peak here, and note that path to stuff is different on ReadyNAS compared to QNAP, and have no idea about the correct path for ReadyNAS
