Hi
I know how to go to %localappdata% and compress the Plex Media Server File to a zip
I also uncheck empty trash from library settings
This time after getting ready to copy I got distracted and rebooted my PC
When I went back to %localappdata% I noticed something MAJOR; that folder which usually is 25GB was now 5GB
Fearing I screwed up royally I checked empty trash box, restarted and Plex Media Folder was still the 5 GB size
I then went downstairs to see if my Smart TV would work with PLEX, it did !
What happened? Why did the folder shrink dramatically ? Am I safe ? What was lost in that folder anyhow ?
I have 1,5000 movies and 200 TV series on 2 16TB drives
Also, during backups I get an error that plex tuner serv is running and could not be copied; I close that service but yet it pops up again, guess I can ignore that
My main concern is what did I do to to that PLEX Media Server folder in %localappdata% that made it shrink by 20 GB
Thanks for any help just concerned when I do a reinstall with that smaller folder all is ok
