How can I reduce the size of the local Plex conversion files

My Plex server has a small hard drive - about 48 GB. How can I keep the size of this folder in check? It appears to cache the converted copies, which is obviously necessary. But my server isn’t used all that much, maybe one movie or tv show every other day. Surely there is a way for Plex to be more aggressive about cleanup of this folder?

C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Media\localhost

Not sure what you mean by converted copies, but that folder holds the thumbnails for your media files.
