As a suggestion, do a tab for manual backup and recovery and remember your users to make a backup before updating. It’s never wrong to have a backup.
This single tab will save the users hours and you the blame of not warned or given them the possibility to backup and recover.
For the Plex Pass Members there will still be the advantage of the automated backup.
