the synchronization of the episodes for the Devil May Cry series is not correct, the episodes from 2025 are actually the ones from 2007 and vice versa. Is it possible to find a solution to properly synchronize both series with the correct episodes?" The source is plex database.

From what I can find, this is listed as two independent shows. How did you name / organize those files?

yes indeed this is two shows.
problem is when i searched on internet the name of the episodes, it doesn’t match with what i see on my server. i mean the names of the episodes of 2007 show are the names of the 2025 show. And when i launch one episode from 2007, it starts a episode from 2025
I named it ‘‘01, 02, 03 etc” for the episodes
The metadata on Plex‘s backend seems to be ok.
I suggest you double-check the organization and naming of those episodes is in line with Plex‘s official naming schema.

If matching gives you a hard time, you could include a matching hint into the show‘s folder name (e.g. Devil May Cry (2007) {tmdb-12577}).
