This only seems to be happening to one particular show of mine that happens to be my favorite. The show is Mayday (Air Crash Investigation) {tvdb-79771}. Despite putting the files in the preferred naming conventions on my PLEX server (running on a Win10 Pro machine connected to my home network), when refreshing the metadata, it will instead return results for “Air Disasters”. While this is one of the names the show went by, the episodes do not seem to be syncing with the TV show of the same name on TVDB. The files are in order with the correct names, season, and year, yet when it syncs the metadata for the show, much of the 21 seasons remain as “Episode 1, Episode 2, etc.”
I tried to fix the match using the TVDB code which returned the same “Air Disasters” show and is still not syncing titles for the majority of the seasons. This was not an issue until I had to rebuild my library of this series’ episodes only. Some seasons are correct and the metadata is showing as it was, but others are all blank with basic information.

On the Show Properties > Advanced all the settings are “Library Default”
Under the Settings Menu of the player, the Agents tab has TVDB listed at the top of the list.
