So I’ve been working on a way to flag movies that I would like to optimize so I can copy them to my WD My Passport Wireless Pro and I think I’ve settled on using the star rating. This seems to be a user configurable field where I can set a rating and then have the optimizer process any files over a certain rating. So far, it’s all working well, but I’m wondering if there’s a easier way to set the star rating on multiple items at once.
I tried selecting multiple files in the Web Client and then editing the “Rating” field but that “Rating” doesn’t seem to match with the star ratings even though you need to use the “rating” field when you want to build a filter on star ratings (seems things are named inconsistently).
I’m wondering if there is a way for me to select lots of files at once (or even a playlist) and then have them all set to the same star rating. Any ideas?
