Will this work on the Beagleboard black?
That would be great if it does :) The Beagleboard has some better specs than the Raspberry Pi model B.
I'm sure (actually... I hope with all my heart) that somebody will port it at some stage, but I doubt the Rasplex devs would do so, considering that they are focusing on a case+software specific for the Pi.
Feel free to grab our code and get it running there.
It would be easy if OpenELEC has support for this board. But I don’t think they support this board.
How about UDOO ?
Beaglebone?
Forget it people, check the hardware specs, no full HD output from HDMI on this board. 720P max.
The Beagle Board Black system reference manual rev A5.2 says (in the HDMI section):
P.S. No accelerated video decoding either. It's a no go.
We're moving towards CuBox-i as higher level tiers to RasPlex, but there are >2 million raspberry pis out there already so that is the main focus.
Dale, aside from the PC version of PHT there is no other alternative that can replicate the PC aside from what you guys have accomplished with Rasplex (not Google TV, not Keplar, not anything else). I can’t use Rasplex cause it’s way too slow however. Turning your attention to the Cuboxi can make the ARM solution viable. This is somewhat conjecture at this point though because as far as I know as of today no one has received a device and able to report on performance.
+1
