Hello,
I wanted to ask if the rasplex software is compatible to other arm boards like for instance
the Cubietruck. (Google it)
Are there any other supported Linux devices as clients that have higher performance than the
lasted raspberry?
Or is rPi the only solution?
For instance:
Cubietruck
OLinuXino Micro
<span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">ODROID-X</span></span><br><br>
so far only raspberry pi.
I dont think Rasplex would work on any other ARM board unless it would have the exact same hardware.
There are way to many arm based boards out there to support them all :)
Ok thank you. Topic can be closed

On the other hand, if/when any of those boxes becomes really widespread (like the RPi already is), RasPlex-based project forks are likely to be created by programmers owning such boxes.

I've just read about the BeagleBoard Black which given the specs should be a great deal more powerful than the current RPi.

EDIT: Not a good idea, since its video decoding capabilities a to limited.
If you wanna make a good pick, check cubox-i :)

I'm very interested in this board

and I think rasplex are really onto a cool piece of software, getting it onto other boards would be fantastic!

Probably never going to happen, there are two many of these Raspberry Pi look-a-likes popping up, they'll never gain traction.
