Hi there i wanted to use rasplex with berry boot so this is what i have done....
1. Installed berry boot on my sd
2. Downloaded the latest Raplex Build
3. Extracted the SYSTEM file and renamed it to Rasplex.img
4. Copy'd it to a USB drive and imported in on berry boot.
Now Rasplex start fine !! The only problem is that network isn't available ..... none at all
Does anyone have a idea whats going on ??
Hope someone has a solution !!!
Did exactly the same and i also have no network available.
On GitHub i found the following issue: https://github.com/RasPlex/RasPlex/issues/34
As this is already 2 months old, i hope someone has a solution to this problem by now.
Please help.
I've got the same issue :(
Problem is solved with the new Version of RasPlex (think since 3.0.3)
To add RasPlex to BerryBoot with a Windows-PC follow this procedure:
- Install RasPlex to a SD-Card as supposed or useone with already installed RasPlex (this is just temporarily - you can you this Card for BerryBoot later)
- Put this SD-Card in our PC's-CardReader
- stick an empty USB-Stick with at least 500 MB to your PC
- Copy the file "SYSTEM" from the SD-Card to this USB-Stick and rename the file to "RasPlex.img"
- install BerryBoot on a SD-Card (you can overwrite the one from first step)
- start your Raspberry with the Berry-Boot-SD-Card, the attached USB-Stick and a keyboard and mouse
- when starting BerryBoot hit "EDIT Menu"
- hold down left mousebutton on "Add OS" and select "Copy OS from USB Stick"
- select your "RasPlex.img" file from the USB-Stick and click "open"
- After copying you can "Edit" the Name if you want
- you can click "Set Default" if you want
- restart the RaspBerry and select RasPlex
- do the usual Setup procedure
- enjoy RasPlex and BerryBoot !
