Can anyone recommend a DVD / CD ripping software or app?
I have a large collection of music and films I want to add to my NAS.
Don’t mind paying for something that is FAST and allows for tag editing
Thanks

MakeMKV is free (while in beta) for DVD/BD. Google is your friend for that.
For CDs I prefer dbPowerAmp.
I use MakeMKV as well. It’s bit annoying having to go through the update process but that’s simply compared to the ease of updating my other software. Really it’s a small “price” to pay for such a handy tool that “just works”.

Update process? Are you referring to updating the key when the beta expires? I used MakeMKV for so long I went ahead and just bought it. The developers deserve that for all the use I got out of it.
For CDs I use plain old Windows. I’ve ripped about 300 CDs and rarely had an issue.
vortex box. (uses makemkv) just insert disk let it do its job
MakeMkv ( 1 to 1)
bluerip (1 to 1) better audio options
Video Converter Ultimate ( great to convert/mp4/4k)
x265 HEVC Encoder / H.265 Video Codec http://x265.org/
AVC
MakeMKV is prob the best out there
