I have a vacation home. I own a bunch of movies that I have ripped over time. I’d like to set up a movie server at the vacation home, but internet access is not available.
What is the best way for me to have a dependable way to play movies out there. I was thinking an Nvidia Shield with built in Plex and an external hard drive. It needs to be zero maintenance. I need to plug it in, plug in the HDMI, and have it work for anyone.
I can set up everything at home, but I’m not going to get out to the vacation home frequently to add or change anything.
