Best setup for streaming only music

I am really an amateur when it comes to Plex, but I absolutely love the platform. I got to talking to my boss about it the other day as I was telling him I have access to my media anywhere in the world. He is very interested in joining the Plex family, but he only wants to use it for streaming music. After talking with him about his infrastructure it seems that a NAS that can run the Plex on board is his best bet. He doesn’t have a server or a desktop that he can use to run Plex Media Server. I did some research and it seems that a NAS can do it, but I’m not sure which one I should recommend as I have no experience in that area. My setup is just a bunch of hard drives added to my desktop. I have tried reading about the different NAS devices, but I’m not sure what will work best for him.

I apologize if i didn’t add enough detail. Please feel free to ask questions. I’m not ashamed to say I’m and idiot.

I use an older Synology DS1512+ NAS for Music and PMS runs just fine on it. I also have a movie library stored on the NAS but link to them via SMB shares from a Lenovo Ideapad i7 Linux MINT running PMS. 10 TB of storage allows for expansion. Plan for more and use less. Synology allows additional expansion via add on chassis should you eventually need more. The Plex NAS support is excellent here… https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/sections/200286217-NAS-Devices
